How The Power Of Prayer Hotline Originated
God had been dealing with me about enlarging my borders in proclaiming
the Truth. It seemed that everybody I heard on the radio was discussing the problems people were facing. I thought
"Why doesn't someone discuss the answers to the problems? Doesn't anybody know who Jesus is?
After several months of pondering this, I met some ladies who
asked me, "Have you ever thought of doing a live program on the radio?" I had already been asked this by the LORD, but
had told Him, "If you want me to do this, then let someone approach me about it. I wouldn't know where to begin to do
this."
Consequently, God began to open doors that I had not expected
in my wildest dreams. The response from local sponsors was overwhelmingly favorable, so for the next three years every
Saturday we aired a thirty minute LIVE broadcast within a hundred mile radius, called THE POWER OF PRAYER HOTLINE. People
called in their prayer requests and we addressed their need on the air. After the Lord opened a door for a second and
third prison ministry, we discontinued the live broadcasts but continued to send out the "JOYFUL NOTE" newsletter and answer
the calls for prayer. God has performed so many awesome things that time and space would not permit us to tell of them.
We are just thankful for all the reports of miracles, signs, and wonders confirming His Word.
And now, with this medium of the Internet, we decided to take
the POWER OF PRAYER HOTLINE online. Thanks be to God for expanding our borders once again. AMEN
